So I've been doing yoga fairly sporadically for the past two years or so and I love it. It's a great way to calm your mind and build strength and flexibility. However, working at Trader Joes doesn't quite afford me the ability to belong to a fancy pants yoga studio. So I found out about YogaToThePeople, a donation based joint and I decided to check it out today. While it was awesome to get back to it after about 3 weeks, the teacher's style left a little to be desired.

Then we did some ab exercises at the end, and she used a very motivational tactic to keep you working hard. It was so motivational in fact, that I felt motivated to say "I'm going to kill her" very audibly in a room packed to the walls with 50+ yogis. She started counting backwards from 10 while we were doing bicycles, and then she stopped on the number 2, and repeated it "2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2...". Why didn't she just count backwards from 20?
Also some other lady was literally howling like a cat in heat the entire class. Everytime we exhaled I would hear "YOWLOWLOWLOOOOOOOOOOAAAAGGGGGHHHAAAGH!"
I was going to pay 3 dollars, but I decided one was enough.
